Before you go - Grab a Gig Card!
Make sure to grab a Gig Card before your trip, to ensure you can unlock and lock your vehicle no matter how far from cell service you wander. Order your Gig Card in the app. It usually takes three business days, but can sometimes take up to two weeks. If you need one right away, pick one up at a AAA office. If you've lost or damaged your card, request a new one by emailing [email protected].

Take a drive 🚙
Take advantage of our Prepaid Rentals and take an epic trip up and down the coast you won’t soon forget. Cambria is a beautiful stop 3+ hours south of San Francisco, and is known for its boardwalk trail along the coast, its family-friendly beaches, and a chance to see elephant seals certain times of the year. Mendocino is another amazing destination 3+ hours north of the city. It's a wonderful small coastal town with artisan shops, restaurants, and variety of small hotels and Bed and Breakfasts peppering the area. The area is rich with State Parks. It's breathtakingly beautiful, whether it's your first time in the area, or your 100th time.

Planning a staycation? We hear you. Sometimes it’s nice just to take some time off at, or near, home. Grab a Gig and treat yourself to a day around the Bay - pack a picnic, visit a local museum (like the California Academy of Sciences), or go for a hike. There is so much to do in and around the Bay Area, you don't have to travel far to find adventure, or just to just get away from it all.
Seattle

Take a drive 🚙
Take advantage of our Prepaid Rentals and take an epic trip down the Oregon coast you won’t soon forget. Head south approximately three hours and stop to take in the sweeping ocean views at Cape Disappointment. Continue south approximately another hour and stop at Cannon Beach, know for its Tufted Puffins!! Another hour or so later you'll find Tillamook, Oregon, known for its farm fields and creamery. Now that's a solid road trip! Bring your bike for some added adventures along the way.

Grab a Gig and treat yourself to a day around town. Visit a local museum (like the Museum of Pop Culture), plan a picnic at a park, or take a hike. And, we know it's not October, but you still could do a spooky Seattle driving tour. Why not?!

Want to make a day of it? It's amazing how much fun you can fit into 24 hours! Take a fun day trip to Benicia, with its lovely state recreation area; visit one of the relaxing spas in Calistoga; or check out the beautiful Donner Memorial State Park - it has 2.5 miles of hiking trails and three miles of lake frontage on Donner Lake.
