Best places to see the wildflowers in and around Seattle

April is an amazing month for our beautiful friends, the flowers. Many of them are peeking their heads out right now. What a great excuse to grab a camera, grab a Gig, and go for a drive!

If you find yourself longing for some natural beauty, here are a few destinations in and around Seattle that you may want to visit. Be sure to research each area's hours and restrictions before visiting.

Skagit Valley Tulip Festival 
Considered a favorite destination event, the Skagit Valley Tulip Festival runs April 1 to 30. Head up to the farm fields north of Seattle to enjoy the millions of blooming tulips.

Mount Rainier 
Visit Mount Rainier National Park to see a variety of wildflowers. Need help identifying the flowers? Purchase a variety of wildflower identification guidebooks at one of the park's visitor centers.

Des Moines Creek Trail 
Enjoy the trails of the peaceful Des Moines Creek Park. Throughout the park grounds, you’ll spot seasonal flowers and garden waterfalls.
