National Hispanic Heritage Month, 2021
From September 15 to October 15, National Hispanic Heritage Month honors the history, contributions and culture of Hispanic-Americans whose ancestors came from Spain, Mexico, the Caribbean, and Central and South America. Hispanic Heritage Week was first proclaimed by President Johnson in 1968.
The theme this year is “Esperanza: A Celebration of Hispanic Heritage and Hope.”
