Here’s To You in ‘22!
Well, here we are. 2022. The last year was tough for many of us, let’s give ourselves a pat on the back and celebrate a new start. 🎉
Because a new year is an opportunity for positive change, we wanted to share ideas that could make the new year feel even more “new.” No pressure, no rules! Just a clean slate and fresh ideas!
💥 Say yes to more adventures! Grab a Gig and get out of town for a few days. You’d be amazed at what’s around you. Or, explore your own city. Make a wish list of places you’ve always wanted to visit. (Check out these getaway spots in Sacramento, Seattle, and the Bay Area.)
💥 Let go of plans that aren’t working out. It’s the perfect time to make a new plan.
💥 Try something new that excites you — whether that’s a new class, new foods, checking out new museum exhibits, or reading new books.
💥 Make new friends. You never know what kind of different opportunities and perspectives you may gain.
💥 Set personal or professional aspirations for the year — Even if they are just for yourself, they can help you focus and improve. Make sure they are measurable (and attainable).
💥 Don’t get hung up on “perfect” - embrace failures and challenges as well as wins. We’re all human.
💥 Declutter. It’s a great exercise in starting fresh and making more room for things that will bring you joy. Grab a Gig, gather your donations, and make a run to your favorite local charity.
