Hello, Outer Sunset District!

We're happy to be here!

Good news! Gig Members are now able to begin and end trips in the San Francisco neighborhood of the Outer Sunset.

Known by locals as “the Avenues,” the Sunset District has a lot to offer for residents and visitors alike!

Take a stroll to Golden Gate Park and enjoy the Elk Glen Picnic Area, Mothers Meadow family recreation area, and the San Francisco Botanical Garden. The park measures over 1,000 acres, so put on your walking shoes and pack a lunch! The park is also home to the California Academy of Sciences, the Conservatory of Flowers, The de Young Museum, and the Japanese Tea Garden.  Learn more about the park here.

Head to the shops and restaurants on Irving, Judah, and Noriega Streets. We hear San Tung Chinese Restaurant has great chicken wings and pot stickers, and Marnee Thai Restaurant has inventive Thai dishes. The Pizza Place on Noriega features pies baked in a traditional brick oven, and Yoyose has delicious spicy noodles.  Here are more suggestions by SF Eater

Did we mention that Ocean Beach is just a short walk away?  The 3.5-mile beach borders west San Francisco and is adjacent to Golden Gate Park. Great for a stroll or some kite flying! Learn more about Ocean Beach here.

There's so much to explore! 🎉  Just Grab a Gig and Go!
