Dashboard Warning Lights

Warning lights can come on in your vehicle’s dashboard for a variety of reasons. In this blog, we’ll discuss the most common warning lights and what they mean. If you feel that your Gig is unsafe to drive at any time, stop the vehicle in a safe place and contact Member Support. You can use the chat function to communicate about the warning lights you are seeing in order to get advice on what steps (if any) to take. Your safety is our biggest priority.

ABS Warning Light
Indicates a malfunction in the Anti-Lock Braking System or the Brake Assist System.

Charging System Warning Light
Indicates a malfunction in the vehicle's charging system.

Electric Power Steering (EPS) Warning Light
Indicates a malfunction in the EPS system.

Low Engine Oil Pressure Warning Light
Indicates that the engine oil pressure is too low.

ABS Warning Light
If this light does not go away after restarting the car then there may have an issue with the brake-assist system.

Charge System Warning
If your Bolt has detected an issue with the power from the battery not making it to the electrical system this warning will appear.

Power Steering Warning
This light suggests a problem with the power steering in your GMC.

This symbol notifes you that the tire pressure in your EV is dropping.
