Seattle Hiking Resources

AllTrails shares 82 top running, walking, and hiking trails in and near Seattle. Their easy-to-navigate map and clickable categories makes finding the perfect trail easy! Check out the 73 “easy” rated trails if you are looking for a quick stroll.

Washington Trails Association has a great list of hikes within 30 minutes of Seattle. You’ll find helpful information about each trail, and — as an added bonus — beautiful photos from each area. 

Condé Nast Traveler has put together a list of the 13 best hikes in Seattle. Each write-up features a description of the hiking area and a breathtaking photo. We’re ready to try them all!

Bay Area Hiking Resources

Hiking Project offers a great Bay Area hiking map. Zoom in and view recommended routes and their ratings. The website was built by hikers, and features information on 2,852 miles of trails. Don’t miss the 28 Bay Area “Gems.”

Sacramento Hiking Resources

Sacramento County offers information on more than 15,000 acres of hiking opportunities. They do ask that you review the multi-use trail rules before heading out on the trails!
