Daylight Savings Time Starts March 14, 2021

Daylight Savings Time starts on Sunday March 14, 2021. At 2:00 am clocks are turned forward one hour. This means that sunrise and sunset will be about one hour later. We'll have more light in the evening. We don't know about you, but this gives us ideas of what we can do with our GIG Car Share car with the extra sunlight in the evening.

Bay Area Members - drive to Alameda's Crab Cove, walk on the path heading west, and watch the sun go down over the boats. Seattle Members - here are 6 places to visit in Seattle to see breathtaking sunsets.

More time for errands after work

One of our favorite places to support in the East Bay is Mandela Grocery in Oakland because it is a worker-owned co-op.

Take your bike for a ride (we have bike racks!) and then a spin

San Francisco Members, explore the trails at Golden Gate Park or head to Fort Funston to ride next to the beach.

Pick up your favorite meal and make a picnic of it

Seattle Members, take your takeout to Parsons Gardens - it is open until 10pm. And Sacramento, head to McKinley Park with your picnic goods.
